bad teeth.

Back to blogging!
The reason why I haven't blogged in a while is because I didn't feel well.
I kept on getting toothaches constantly and it seriously messes up your mind.
Since it's so close to the brain, the pain is so much more present and consistent.

But before I get into that story, I'll do a little update of the things that I remember. LOL.

Lately I haven't been doing much really, and it has already been 7 weeks that the strike is going on.
I've heard that Maisonneuve and Saint-Laurent colleges have offered their students to refund their semester, which worries me a lot. I'm pretty sure that it'll happen soon for my school, and it'll also mean that I won't be obtaining my DEC. Plus, I won't be able to go to University. Sigh*

Anyhow, with that said, I went to Wal-Mart a little while back, and I bought a storage system thing, and set it up to be a little add-on to BumBum's cage. Now she can run around a bit more, without eating up my stuff!

Last Thursday, I finally used my coupon that I bought from LivingSocial to eat at Boccacinos in downtown.
In all honesty, the food and drinks were good, but the service was horrendous.
Never in my entire life have I had a worse service than that.
When our place was assigned, we took a look at the menu, decided what we wanted to eat, and waited 20 minutes for her to come. And she wasn't even going to come if we didn't call her.
She was never there to serve her tables, I don't even know what the heck she does as a waitress. Even the tables around us were pissed because they've been waiting a long time to order. When we wanted to leave, I had to ask the busboy for our receipt because she never passed by... and when she came back, the 40$ coupon wasn't deducted from the bill. Since she was still gone to Nanaland, I had to ask the hostess to find her. When she came back, she said "Ok, so it will be 6 dollars, but the bill was actually 46 dollars, so you have to tip on the 46 dollars." How freaking rude. For what would I have to tip for? For me having to run around the restaurant asking other people to find you?
Anyways, I gave her 10% tip, which is the amount you're supposed to tip anyway, and she was pissed. Said thanks rudely and didn't say goodbye.
I've never been so mad leaving a restaurant before... and so I went home and wrote them a letter.
The owner e-mailed me back, and offered us a 25$ discount next time we go, which we probably won't even bother with.

On Friday, my teeth started to really hurt.
I barely ate anything because I was in so much pain.
Then on Saturday I had gotten so bad, I was taking Tylenol constantly and I didn't eat the whole day.
I barely slept the night before and I wanted to pull my tooth out. -_-
We went to J's place, and they were doing geeky computer stuff all day, while I annoyed the heck out of her cats.

That night, I tried to put ice on my cheek and it hurt even more.
The pain was so strong, I had tears.
But then, the next day, the pain was gone.

I went to eat dinner with A and J, at Mrs. Amigos!
I've never eaten there before, and I know that N's mom owns it, but I never thought that they served Caucasian food.
I got a clam chowder, which was okay, and a salmon thing. It was so delicious! Cooked outside, still soft and a bit raw inside... yum!
I didn't take pictures of the food, but I did when we got dessert!

After that meal, my tooth was aching again, but my dentist appointment (that I've been waiting a month for) was Monday.
I don't think I'll bother telling the story of my dentist's incompetence, but basically, they changed my appointment without telling me, and had me waiting for an hour, lost my medical records (which I can actually sue them for), and made me pay 84$ for nothing.
As it turns out, I had a root canal, which I went to fix yesterday.
I've always had the worst luck with dentist. Braces for 5 years, wisdom teeth taken out and bleeding for 2 weeks.
Yeah, so I actually went to find another dentist for my root canal therapy, and it usually takes 1:30 to do. In my case, it took 3 hours. What the beep.
And the total for my root canal treatment and a crown is 2000$.
Where the heck do I get 2000$ from. -_-

pillow making.

For our 18th month anniversary, in other words, a year and a half, I decided to make a pillow/cushion for D.

Little did I know, it came out to be the most annoying thing to make.
I hate sowing.

It shouldn't be too hard if you have experience with sowing, but it was such a pain for me. -___-''
In total, it took me about 6 hours... but that's because I was tired and also because I began at midnight.

Here's what you need;

You will also need thread (the kind for normal sowing) and scissors.

Steps;

1. Know what size of a pillow/cushion you want yours to be, and cut it out from the fabric.
2. Sow it with a sowing machine, as well as the zipper.
3. Once you have your "envelope" done, you want to cut out whatever you want to write or the shapes from your felt sheet.
4. Sow your shapes using the large needle and thick thread!
