roadtrip.

Here are some pictures from my trip to Toronto!

 

Our first stop was Congee Wong. The conge was really yummy, the rest was really just meh.

Afterwards we simply headed back to the hotel, since it was getting kind of late.

The next day, we went to eat at Super Buffet, in Scarborough. I honestly have no freaking idea why people wanted to go there. It's so blah, and it's an Asian buffet.. just like the ones that we all know.

After eating lunch, we finally decided to go to the zoo. Yes!!!
Being an animal lover, there's nothing better than going to the zoo.
The park is huge, and after 4 hours of walk, we still didn't manage to visit the whole place. People were tired, so we decided to leave... ;(
But D said that he'll go back with me and we'll visit the whole zoo, just us two.

After the zoo, we went to Dave and Buster's, which is an arcade and you win tickets... and then you exchange your points for toys and stuff.
D got 3116, his bff got 1450. All the toys were so ugly... so I didn't think that I was going to pick anything up, but then as we exited, I saw a big Domo and I HAD to get it. So my boy and D.L. and J got me the plushie with their points.

We were supposed to go Korean barbecue after, but we ran out of time, so we just went for dinner.

The next day, we went to dim sum at Diamond.
We shopped a bit at First Markham and we also went to Pacific Mall for a little while.
Their stuff is so overpriced, I don't even get why people shop there.

It was already time to head back home. :(

canadian border.

After school, I went to meet with D and I decided to accompany him to go pick up his friend in Pittsburgh.
Well not exactly in Plattsburgh, but at the border of the country, because we didn't have our passports.

It wasn't that long of a drive... about an hour.
Just as we got there, we received a message from the airport, saying that his friend's flight got delayed.. for two hours and a half -__-''
We were pissed about it at first, because there's absolutely nothing to do there. There's a really sketchy restaurant called "RESTAURANT" and on the other side, there's a Best Western, a camping area and a bistro.
We decided to go eat at the bistro, because the other restaurant looked really ghetto.
It was kind of awkward because we were the only ones there.

So overall, his friend was super late and we waited for a total of 4 hours.
But it's okay, we spent quality time together and it was nice. [:

roses and egg tarts.

A lot of crap happened on Saturday.
I was really bummed about not seeing D this week. At all.
Sometimes I feel like being in my shoes is just pathetic, because all I do is wait. Wait after him to find time for me.
It's like I'm always trying to consider him and by doing so, I forgot about myself.

I got mad yesterday because I realized that it really just wasn't fair for me.
It wasn't fair that I was left alone when he did have the time during the week to maybe come and see me or something, and yet he didn't.
I think this is the first time I'm mad and that I'm actually standing up for myself and not giving in so easily.
I'm trying to be as understanding as I can be, but I can only take so much.

After realizing that I was really upset, he sent me roses today with a note saying "Happy six months and one day."

Sigh. Why does he have to be such a sweetheart.

I was still mad, because even if I was happy that he was thoughtful and caring for sending me flowers, it still didn't change the fact that he wasn't there for me the day before. Okay, yes I know I'm being a bit harsh, but all I wanted was a bit of time from him and instead he just made other plans.

He knew that I was still unhappy, so he passed by and dropped a box at my front door.
5 egg tarts... because he ate one! -____-

 

chocolate overdose.

I always look forward to Fridays, because that's when I get to see my Totoro!
& well... it's the weekend too.
We went to Suite 88 Chocolatier on Sherbrooke street;

It's pretty small, but cozy.
We ordered a waffle with milk chocolate and a hot chocolate milk.
It was okay... but in my opinion, Juliette et Chocolat is better...
Their truffles look really good though... they even had green tea ones!
Too bad we didn't get any. I think we had enough chocolate for one day.

Day after;
After work, we decided to go to Juliette et Chocolat. Yes, you read right! After all the chocolate from the day before, we were still craving for our good old classic crepe.

We went to watch Just Go With It afterwards... and it was pretty good.
Besides all the bad reviews on it, I found it pretty cute and funny.

Can't wait for Rango to come out next week!

So this morning someone rang at my door.
It was the florist!
I wasn't expecting anything, so I was kind of confused.
I took off the paper packaging and saw a card.. dedicated to me.

 

"Im coming home soon! Miss you."

Sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me.

early gifts.

The BF is going to spend Christmas in T.O. ;(
Since he's leaving on the 24th, and I'm stuck at work, he passed by last night to drop off my gift at my door (without me knowing).
Such a sweetheart <3

We're going to open our gifts tonight heheh, I can't wait!
